One day left!!!

The bags are packed, the house is ready, and we're going crazy with anticipation! It's been a little over a year since we started this wonderful journey.

Here's a timeline of our adoption journey.

  • Jan 15, 2008 - Contacted Adoption Planning Inc.
  • April 24th - Homestudy complete.
  • July 14th - Homestudy sent to Korea.
  • Aug. 20th - I-600A Submitted.
  • Sept 23rd - HannahKate Referral.
  • Oct. 20th -I-600A approved.
  • Dec. 1st - Received Korean legal papers
  • Dec. 8th - Submitted I-600 application.
  • Jan. 22, 2009 - I-600 Approved.
  • Jan 30th - NVC received I-600 approval
  • Feb. 4th - NVC approves visa petition
  • Feb. 11th - Travel to Korea.
  • Feb. 25th - HannahKate comes home!!!
Writing this down makes the process seem so simple, but all the emotions and drama was more than we expected. The highs and lows are a lot like going through a normal pregnancy, except being more mentally exhausting versus the physical exhaustion. We're so thankful for having God guide us through this fantastic journey. The support and encouragement from our friends and family has been incredible.

Please continue to pray for a safe trip!

God Bless.
