Seoul Tower and Namsan Cable Car...

Today was the coldest day so far in Korea. With wind chills the highs were only in the single digits. It was extremely cold (almost as cold as those wintry nights in Skaneateles!), but we braved the elements to head off to Namsan mountain to ride the "cable car" (aka sky lift). Jonathan's favorite ride has always been the sky lift at Stone mountain and the sky lift in Singapore so we had to ride the only sky lift in Korea! At the top of the mountain was Seoul Tower that allows you to view the city from the highest point in Korea up some 370meters above sea level. The views were absolutely spectacular since you could see the entire city (and a very congested city it is) and the mountains off in the distance. Take a look at the pictures below to see for yourself.

Take a look at the wonderful selection of food
at the local HomePlus store food court.

The view from the bottom of the cable car as called in
Korea. The tower at the top of the picture was our
final destination.

A cool pagoda style building at the top of the mountain.

Family picture at the base of Seoul Tower.

A sample of the view from the top of the tower. Seoul
is one of the most dense cities in the world and you can
see why. Most of the white buildings are actually apartment
buildings.

What a cute couple!

"Halabagi dohn du ju se yeo!".
Grandpa, can I have more coins please!
