God is so good! On top of the direct flights being the cheapest it's been for over a year, we got a free ticket from our Delta Skymiles!!! Can you say Halleluah!!! Even with the silly fee they tack on the supposedly free tickets, we still saved almost $1000!
We were really happy that we could fly on Korean Airlines since their service is far,far better than Delta and they have IFE (in flight entertainment) on every seat! For meals, we get Bibimbap and chicken Teryaki on the way there but on the way back we get to choose from an assortment of meals including Shrimp curry, kimbap, Bibimbap, and more... makes me hungry just thinking of all the yummy Korean food. You can't imagine the difference flying on foreign airlines like KoreanAir and SingaporeAir versus flying on Delta or United. We flew on SingaporeAir on our 18 hour trip to Singapore from Newark and it was fabulous! This one will be 14 hours so please pray that we have a good flight there and back!
Oh friend I'm so excited for you...and a little green with envy. But you have waited long enough. You have done all that has been asked and required of you. You have a daughter waiting for you on the other side of the world who has no idea the blessing that is about to be her's! So go my friend! Go with our love and hugs and prayers both behind and in front of you!
